SafeNet FAQ

1. How do I use SafeNet on my device?
For SafeNet to take effect, you need to both turn on SafeNet, and have a VPN connection on either App Mode or Global Mode.

2. What apps/websites is SafeNet effective against?
SafeNet is effective against advertisements on most apps and websites.
However, there are some apps which require connecting to a specific location in order for SafeNet to take effect.
To enable ad-blocking on YouTube, Twitch and Instagram, connect to a location with the "Ad Free" tag.

3. SafeNet is not working on some apps/websites. What should I do?
The most common fix is to restart the app or reload the website. If you still encounter an issue with SafeNet, do submit a ticket in-app.
Do note that SafeNet is unable to block ads on Netflix and Disney+ as these advertisements are directly embedded into the video stream. Other adblockers are also unable to circumvent this issue.

4. Will SafeNet be available on other platforms?
As SafeNet is a newly released feature, we aim to release it on other platforms such as Android TV, Apple TV and Windows. Stay tuned!
